Arroyo Robles

Arroyo Robles is doing a few things differently. Besides being a great family owned and operated business, their tasting room is in downtown Paso within walking distance to delicious food options. Stop by before or after a lunch for funny family stories and a delightfully refreshing lineup of some hard to find varietals:

Albarino is a succulent white wine originally from Spain that has thick caramel banana richness with minerality on the finish. Their Viognier has flavors of apricot and creme brulee that can stand up to rich saucy dishes. Their rose called Pink Rock is dry with bright acidity and flavors of cherry and vanilla that make it a great picnic wine.

Their lineup of reds is also refreshing. The Little Star is a blend of Rhone varietals like Syrah with a little help from a smoky rich Tempranillo and luscious Merlot. Can’t tell which grape contributed its blueberry flavor but it is a big star! Their Tempranillo has smoky vanilla with soft supple flavors of coconut with its tannic dry texture. Petite Sirah stole the show with deep dark cocoa flavor and texture. Finally, they are one of the few places that make sparkling wine here in Paso where the high temps make you crave this refreshing potion.
